Then his next venture with Maniratnam’s Kannathil Muthamittal was critically acclaimed and he also got success in commercial films like Run. He won awards for his performance as a supporting actor in the Kamal Hasan starrar Anbe Sivam and won the national award for his excellent performance in the multistarrar film Aayutha Ezhuthu.

His Return to South

After having a successful Bollywood career, the beloved Maddy is coming back to his home industry and this hero will portray the role of a retired boxer. This untitled film is directed by Sudha Kongara. According to Madhavan it’s a tough role as he has to go to the gym a lot and take training under Hollywood professionals and he will also sport a new look with a beard and long hair. This film is expected to be a success for the returning Maddy.
