Revealed that she is very excited about starring in an upcoming Kollywood movie against Tamil actor, Dhanush.She was being intervied by the Tabloid based in Dubai when she broke the news. The film which is yet to be named will be a 2014 project by the two actors. The Kolaveri Di singer, Dhanush has been reading the scripts with director DuraiSenthil Kumar, for his 2014 movies. Vetrimaaran, who also made Aadukalam with Dhanush playing the lead, is mostly likely to start a project in early 2014 and this should be their third film together. Kajal might be roped in to play the National Award winning actor’s lady love in one of these. He is also looking into a project by Siraj,and it is most likely that Kajal will be starring in this project. Interestingly, Kajal was the first choice to set to play the female lead against Dhanush earlier in the Tamil movie Polladhavan, directed by Vetrimaaran, which was released in 2007. Even the first photoshoot had been done for the movie with Kajal and Dhanush. But, due to some unknown reason, Kajal left the project and DivyaSpandana was signed by Vetrimaaran to step into her shoes and romance Dhanush. However, the chance to set the two as the leading pair in a Tamil movie is probably here, finally, and the fansare rooting for it to happen. Kajal’s recent movie, All in All Azhagu Raja, directed by M. Rajesh, and starring Karthi opposite Kajal, failed to make it big in the box office. Dhanush’s recently released movie, Naiyyandi, did not do so well in the box office either. But, that has not stopped them from bagging meaty roles in upcoming movies. As of now, Dhanush is involved in two movies. One of them is VelaiIlla Pattadhari, which is is 25th movie, and his other project is Anegan by K. V. Anand. Kajal, on the other hand, is currently shooting for the Pongal movie, Jilla, directed by Nesan. There are speculations that after these projects, Dhanush and Kajal will take up the new project. However, sources have not been able to confirm this news as yet.
