Venkatesh Multistarrer Trend

Victory Venkatesh has paved way for Multistarrer trend in Telugu Cinema for this year. It is a positive change in Tollywood to see a senior actor like Venkatesh come forth to act opposite other heroes in the same film and drawing more family audiences. He was tremendously successful in the beginning of the year by acting as elder brother to Mahesh Babu in Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. Keeping his seniority apart, he chose to act in the mellowed down role and gave the film a new look. The film was highly appreciated by the audience and it was brilliant to look for Venkatesh sans heroism, fights or punch dialogues but in the role of a family member.
Unperturbed by the disastrous result of his solo film Shadow, Venkatesh came forward again later this year along with Ram in Masala- the remake of Bollywood hit film Bol Bachchan. Critics and the audience even felt that Venkatesh’s comedy was the saving grace in the film.
This Multistarrer trend started by Venkatesh opens new doors of opportunities for directors to come forth with multi starrer films with other heroes as well.
