The debutant –
Sonakshi Sinha, the very talented daughter of ace actor turned politician Shatrughan Sinha has been by far the most lucky when it comes to the films that she acts in. She debuted in Bollywood with the film “Dabangg”, which had the Bollywood superstar also dubbed as the man with the golden touch, Salman Khan. Her successful career then went ahead with equally glamorous films such as “Rowdy Rathore”, “Joker”, Son of Saadar” and of course “Dabangg 2”. Her upcoming flicks in Bollywood are also equally mesmerizing such as “Lootera”, “Once upon a time in Mumbai 2” and “Bullet Raja”. With such a galamourous career in Bollywood it is but natural that Sonakshi would debut in the South Indian world only when she gets an opportunity that is equally attractive.
The Prince –
The recent news is that Sonakshi Sinha has already finalized her entry into the South Indian films with a film directed by “Krish” the film which is introducing the Bollywood beauty down South has been named “Shivam”. In this film Sonakshi will play a character named “Meenakshi”. “Meenakshi” means a lady with beautiful eyes and quite naturally Sonakshi seemed the obvious choice as she has very lovely elegant eyes, opined the director. He also added that he was looking out for an elegant beautiful and “Regal” character and of course Sonakshi matched the requirements completely. Prabhudeva was the man who connected the director with his muse and the result is expected to be sublime.
Mahesh Babu on the other hand is a superstar of the South. Is started his career in the films in the tender age of 4. He carried on quite steadily with quite a lot of bigger and in 1999 he was re-introduced as he hero with the Bollywood heart thrown Preity Zinta opposite him. The name of the movie was “Raja Kumarudu”. After realize of the movie Mahesh Babu became so famous that he was renamed as prince by his fan following. From then onwards a string of successful super hits followed including “Pokiri”, “Saini Kudu”, “Athidi” and also “Khaaleja”. However his success gained a real height in 2011 when he starred in the film “Dookudu”. This film was such a big hit that CNN IBN declared him as the actor of the year and awarded his film the honor of hit of the year. According to the industry insiders Mahesh Babu is the highest paid actor in the South Indian film industry after Rajnikanth.
The masterpiece –
Mahesh Babu is of course a very talented actor himself, but he is also the most glamorous of them all. He was of course one of the very few who were listed in the times 50 most desirable men in India in the year 2011. It is thus absolutely natural for him to be the chosen one to star opposite Sonakshi in her debut venture.
