The India International Jewellery Week or most popularly known as the IIJW is held every year in the dream city Mumbai. It was first organized in the year 2010 from 4th to 8th august at the Grand Hyatt. Jewelry is a very essential and important item during make ups. It completes the look. In IIJW, along with many models all the veteran Bollywood as well as the Tollywood actors also participates. They even become the show-stopper for various brands of jewelry. It continued for three days and many famous Indian jewel makers have shown their masterpieces here. This is considered to be the ultimate platform in India for best business opportunities.

All the famous brands of jewelers from all over India took part in this show as it helped them to demonstrate their creations throughout the world. This show is sponsored in collaboration with the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council or the GJEPC. Some of the very famous names include Nirav Modi, Apala, Gitanjali, Gia, Auro Gold, Gehna, Moni Agarwal, Agni, International Gemological Institute, National Institute of Design, Charu, Indian Institute of Gems and Jewellery, Golecha’s jewels, Adorn, Zayna, Kashi Jewellers and so on. It was truly a paradise for jewel lovers as they could experience the best among the country.
Star Attractions of the Week
Fashion and Bollywood are much related to each other. Many of the Bollywood actors were previously models and they still now participate in fashion weeks and regularly walk the ramp. So it was quite natural to find all the star personalities of Bollywood dominating the ramp along with other super models. The Tollywood actors like Kajal Agarwal and else also took part in the fashion week. The third day as truly star studded. The day glittered and shimmered with stars like Alia Bhatt, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Susmita Sen, Juhi Chawla and Aditi Rao Hyadri. Past master actress Shabana Azmi shared the ramp for the first time with her writer husband and truly stole the show. Day four was also much star embossed. Russian model turned actress Kristina Akeeva dominate the ramp. She is the debutante for this season of the IIJW. She walked the ramp for D. Navinchandra. She looked stunning in her Desi look. The collection is Zayna and she was the show-stopper. The finale or the fifth day saw another flock of stars. Sonam Kapoor was the brand ambassador of IIJW. She walked the ramp on the fifth day wearing printed sari with very heavy jewels. Chitrangada Singh also looked stunning on the fifth day in a red dress. Some soap lead characters were also seen walking the ramps this season.

Conclusion
The IIJW has truly exhibited some very beautiful Jewellery which is beautifully crafted I gold, diamond, pearl and other jewels. Another important event this year is that, some Tollywood actors are seen walking the ramps. Kajal Agarwal walked for designer Moni Agarwal and she looked dashing in a blue gown. So the IIJW was really a very grand success.
