Pawan Kalyan is not contesting

Jana Sena Party founder and Tollywood actor PawanKalyanrecently made a furore by saying that he was going to extend his wholehearted support to the chief of LokSattaParty Dr. Jaya Prakash Narayan, who is also contesting in the election from the LokSabha seat of Malkajgiri.Earlier Pawan was going to contest from Kolar, Gulbarga and Raichur but soon changed his decision as according to his reason they were “divided into two states” and there were many problems due to that. PawanKalyan said that though he had previously planned to fight the elections from theMalkajgiriLokSabha seat but he decided to drop the idea for the purpose of extending support Dr. Jaya Prakash. He also went on to make it very clear that the fledgling Jana Sena Party is just one of the constituents of the big NDA.

He mentioned that though his part did not get recognition from the Election Commission he could have contested by fielding independent candidates, however he did not do so because he had no intention of splitting the votes. He seemed angry over the partition of Andhra Pradesh into Seemandhra and Telangana and has said that his party will devote itself into agitating the new government of the new state if it strayed from its role of public service and ethics. The youngest brother of Chiranjeevi, who is a Union Minister now appealed to his fans to put their faith and vote on whomever they thought would help the new state. Kalyan spoke very highly of NarendraModi as he was impressed by his decisiveness and truthfulness.

Pawanalso questioned why his long-time friend PotluriVara Prasad was not eligible to contest the elections as it was clear that people who had served jail terms were also fighting elections. He also said that Potluri was more eligible to contest than some others as he had been as the CBI has absolved him from all charges. This particular barb was considered to be directed against chief of YSR Congress Party, Y. S.Jaganmohan Reddy.
While speaking to the media people, Pawanalso went on record saying that he was not interfering with thetickets distribution issue of the TDP party. He also made it crystal clear that he would be campaigning for the success of a BJP-TDP conglomerate in the upcoming elections.
In one of his recent addresses in an election meeting at Raichur, Pawan showered heaps of praises on the prime ministerial candidate of BJP,NarendraModi. He said that Modi is dedicated completely to his work. Moreover, another point of attention is that Modi owns no personal property or assets like the other party leaders. Stressing on the necessity to elect such true candidates asNarendraModi, Pawanwent on to call upon the Kannadigas to help “hound out” the dynastic leaders of Congress.

Recently he also released a book titled ISM that contained the ideologies of the Jana Sena Party and has guidelines like; the law should apply equally on all citizens of all caste creed and economic class.
