Allu Ramalingaiah has always been a comedian being regularly a part of the Telugu movie news. He was the comedian with a born talent and had a great career throughout his life time. He has once again showed that “Men come and Men go, but their work is omnipresent”. There has been various artists entering and leaving the industry but only a few of them are remembered the way Allu been.

Allu Rama Lingiah was the one of the comedians whose mere presence on the sets can create a humor content for the audience to cherish and giggle. The prolific Telugu actor has always been an indispensable part of the Tollywood industry with his unique genre and awesome timings for humorous and punchy lines to be delivered. The actor from Palakollu has been an important part of more than 200 Telugu films. He made his career in 1953 with his debut movie the ‘Puttillu’. He had an unexaggerated career with more than two out of every three films lined up with him every year. Life time and works other than those for Tollywood

Before his acting career, he has formerly been a homeopathic Doctor saving lives of many with snake bites and other chronic pains.  He used to walk miles to remote villages and being a savior doctor for an area of about dozens of villages around Palakollu. He was the only doctor available there, to the population of more than 40, 000 villagers and commoners. More than those, he has also been a Freedom Fighter and a communist being a freak follower of Mahatma Gandhi. When, Allu got arrested at the time of “Quit India Movement”, the villagers approached to block the ways of the British officials. They opened ways only on the consent of Allu , asking them to clear to let him move to the jail as an order of Mahatma.

Allu Ramalingiah’s fourth Death Anniversary on 30th July

Allu Rama Lingiah spend an awesome life span and left an unforgettable mark to the mind of all. He was honored with the Padma Shri award in 1990 by the Government of India. He was also entitled with the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award in 2001 by the government of Andhra Pradesh for his outstanding contributions to the Cinema Industry. Allu Ramalingaiah recently became part of the few celebrities to be made immortal on the postal stamps by the Postal Department as an honor to his deeds. His soul made way to heaven on 30th July in 2004 but his memories remained intact to the Industry and the Artists of his time. This year is being celebrated as his Ninth Death Anniversary with all the wishes for his soul to rest in peace and appreciating and honoring his works for both the cinemas and the humankind.
