Anushka Shetty is all set to appear in another female oriented film titled “Size Zero”, which is being directed by Kovelamudi Prakash, the son of reputed director K. Raghavendra Rao. This film is under the banner of PVP productions. The official launch of the film was announced on Monday amid a huge gathering of the Director’s family members. This film would be released in both Tamil & Telugu. The filmmakers held a pooja ceremony to mark the launch of this event. The event was graced by celebrities like Anushka Shetty, Prakash Kovelamudi, K Raghavendra Rao, Nirav Shah, Sandeep Gunnam, Sai Korrapati, Anandsai, Kanika Dhillon Kovelamudi and others.
Cast
Anushka is cast opposite Arya in this movie. These two have a special chemistry as they have already worked previously in the film “Varna” under the same production banner. The other notable appearances in this movie are Bharath and Urvasi in important roles and the presence of Shruti Hassan making a guest appearance. The story has been written by Kanika Dhillon, wife of Prakash Kovelamudi. She has also done the screenplay for the film. This is her first appearance in Telugu films after having worked previously in Hindi films. The music has been composed by M M Keeravani. The executive producer of the film is Sandeep Gunnam. Nirav Shah would handle the cinematography and Anand Sai is in charge for art direction.
The gossip is that the actress is putting on weight as she would be appearing fat in the movie. She is working hard to achieve this best possible look for the film and is working hard to make this film a success.
Plot
The plot of this movie has not been revealed as yet but the expectations surround the fact that this is going to be a women centric film mainly centered on the lives of two women. The other factors are absent at present and is mainly up to the guesswork of the individual. The confirmation of Shruti Hassan appearing in a special role in the movie has increased the expectations many times and is keeping the fans on their toes expecting some expansive fireworks from this film.
Anushka, Arya, Urvasi and Bharat appear in the lead roles in this bilingual movie. The producer is Prasad V Potluri under the PVP Cinema banner.
Expectations
There are a lot of expectations from this movie. The main theme is women centric so most likely the main plot would be centered around women empowerment and the importance of women in the society. This is the second time that the team of Anushka Shetty and Arya would be teaming up after their previous appearance in the Tamil romantic drama “Irandam Ulagam” which turned out to be a total disaster at the box office. The initial star cast announced is good and the project is expected to ensure more signings in the near future. The overall expectations from this film are demanding but as there is no clear idea as regards the plot, it would be too early to keep expectations at such an early date.
