Rudramadevi in 3D
Rudramadevi is another upcoming movie in 3D, based on historical happenings of our Indian culture. The movie is being made in both the Tamil and Telugu languages. The same is under the direction of Gunashekar and has been lined up with a efficient cast and crew comprising of Anushka Shetty, Allu Arjun, Krishnam Raju, Nithya Menon, Baba Sehgal, Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Adithya Menon and Catherine Tresa. The lead role is to played by Anushka of the queen Rudrama Devi of the 13th century. Both the sound tracks and the background music for the movie has been provided by Ilaiyaraaja, while the art of direction has been cared by Thotta Tharani. The fascinating costumes of the movie, inspired by the royal lives of the kingdoms and palaces have been taken cared by Neeta Lulla. The story has been taken from a script based on the lifestyles and dramas of Rani Rudramani devi. Before Anushka, Priyanka chopra was also considered for the role but Anushka was finalized based on her old performance in the movie Arundhati.
The Audio Launch
The audio launch of the movie has been well accepted by the audiences and has fetched an amazing response from the critics as well. The music composer has been praised well for the splendid work he has put forward. The same have got great appreciation from renowned artist of the Tollywood industry as well. Allu Arjun, being another popular star ,also addressed the event of the audio launch in Warrangal which was scheduled on 22nd march.

The critics have put forward their views accrediting the movie to be having decent chances in the market. Arjun appreciated the cast and crew for the bold step of creating a female centric big budget movie, further being based on some historic events which is a risk taken against the trends followed in the industry. His words being ” Nobody in the industry will dare to produce a big-ticket female-centric historical film like ‘Rudramadevi’. Such a project has happened neither in the past, nor will come in future. Director Gunasekhar has taken this risk and made a brave attempt by producing it. He is the captain of our ship and we are all confident about his work”. He further went on saying “Today, the trend in the industry is that money is the first priority and second comes the movie. I have not seen any filmmaker giving first priority to a film. If there is any such director in the industry, he is Gunasekhar. I accepted his offer because of his passion for films. I am proud to have him in Tollywood. I thank you very much sir. I have done this movie just for you.”Remembering Chiranjeevi on this auspicious occasion he quoted “This movie is related to history and I would like to talk about it. The Megastar is my history. After him, several members including me from the mega family have entered the industry, earned huge amount of fans and become superstars. But he is above all of us. We can never stand equal to his level and position.”
