Last year when Rana Daggubati released a photo of his marriage on the internet, it caused a storm of rumors, questions and speculations in various film industries of the south and also outside. The photo went viral on the internet especially because of the timing of its release. Trisha Krishnan, who had been involved in the past with Rana, had just called off her engagement with Varun Manian at that time and rumors started flying. At the time when the photo was released, Rana was busy acting for his role in the Tamil remake version of the sensational Malayalam hit film ‘Bangalore Days’ and it turned out that the photograph was from a wedding sequence in the movie in which Rana was in. He later tweeted that it was his first film wedding. When rumors and speculations started flying that Rana had married off secretly, he was greatly surprised but did not take any offense and dismissed the rumors instantly.

However young actor Allu Sirish joked about the rumors in a tweet and wrote a short poem about how Rana should get married again and again.
Rana plays the role of corporate executive who keeps himself busy all day in order to cope with a traumatic past in the remake of Bangalore days. The role was played by Fahadh Faasil in the original Malayalam version. Sri Divya also plays one of the lead characters in the movie. She plays a young graduate who wishes to study in IIM but is eventually forced to marry the character played by Rana. The film is a romantic comedy about three cousins and their time in the city of Bangalore and the remake version is expected to rule the box office just likeits Malayalam counterpart did. Actors like Bobby Simha, Arya, Nithya Menen, Parvathy, Raai Laxmi are also part of the movie.
A man of many talents
Rana is a versatile artist and his talents not only lie in acting but also as a visual effects coordinator and photographer. He has ventured into Bollywood as well even though his success is predominantly in the South. He won a Filmfare Award for his debut as an actor in the Telugu film Leader in 2010. His performance as the main antagonist in Baahubali earned his praises from all corners and the film went on to have the highest grossing opening in the history of Indian cinema.
