NTR spoke to the media regarding his latest release “Jantha Garage”. It is the course of this communication; the actor stated why he never supports the star system. He said the term actor sound sweeter to him. NTR threw light on the reasons that can be accounted beyond the changes that came up in his approach and acting styles.
What are the factors that brought the changes in his acting style?
The actor stated that the changes came up in a phase in his career while it was going through a downtime. Few of the films he worked before NANNAKU PREMATHO failed to produce the desired results. Neither the outcome meets success at the box office, nor did it uphold its abilities as an actor. It was during this phase the NTR realized that an actor should not focus on the rating but, on the type of the roles he/she is playing. Eventually, there came a complete shift in his styles and approaches of acting.
NTR desires to be remembered as an actor, not as a star
NTR said his aspiration is to be remembered in the forthcoming time as an actor but, not as a star. He said that the fans deserve the right to see their favorite actors in various roles. Hence, actors need to look for adding new dimensions in the range of the roles they are playing. In the opinion of this matinee-idol, it is the performance that gives job satisfaction and confidence to any actor, but not the craze or hype as a star.
What roped him up for this film?
During the course of the conversation, NTR explained as why he agreed to be a part of this project. The point that attracted him the most is the dynamism in the screenplay and the potentials it offers to all the characters, without one getting dominated by the other. He said that he foresee the film as a chance to bring the changes in his acting style and the types of the roles he is usually playing. In addition, he said, it was the opportunity to work like legend like Mohanlal that enticed him to be a part of this project. In the opinion of NTR, chances to work with such a legend is never ever to be missed as it gives an actor enormous opportunities to learn new things.
He added, he considered acting in this film a gallant chance to convey the message to the mass about the significance and importance of preserving the environment. He appreciated the screenplay as it never tries to be preachy. Hence, even if it is delivering a significant messages, the film had never compromised on the aspect of entertainment.
