Anushka Shetty is surely reeling from the success of Baahubali and she is in no mood to rest. So much so, Dasari Narayana Rao used to believe that Anushka will be the perfect fit for the Jayalalithaa biopic. However, his untimely death has come as a shock for the whole Telugu film fraternity and the project may well remain buried under papers. Described as an end of an era, Dasari made nearly 150 films and his latest venture was in 2014. The biopic, needless to say, would have been of a grand scale, and surely would have been a film to remember.
Dasari believed in Anushka
While the life of the celebrated leader is full of many colors, Dasari believed Anushka to be the only one capable of pulling it off properly and Anushka, having already proved her mettle in Baahubali 2, would have added another feather on her crown had she finally been able to complete the film. However, a new rumor has sprung up which has kept the ball rolling even after Rao’s death. The rumor is about Mohan Babu taking up the project as a worthy tribute to the legend.
Nothing is finalized yet
Mohan Babu, however, has not said anything himself and hence, this is surely a simple rumor. If he does that, it will surely be the most iconic tribute ever given the star stature of Mohan Babu. While everyone is waiting for an official statement in this regard, everyone is wondering whether Anushka will still be in favour of Mohan Babu like Dasari. It is sad that Dasari had made plans to meet and discuss with her the terms and the script and he had to take a sudden leave from this earth. Surely, if Mohan Babu completes the film, it will be highly anticipated across the south.
