Avika Gor Aka Anandi is a household name in Andhra Pradesh even before her entry in to films. She is known across India with Balika Vadhu Hindi serial and in Andhra Pradesh with its dubbed version, Chinnari Pelli Koothuru.
Avika Gor was born to Sameer Gor and Chetna Gor on 30 June 1997 in Mumbai. Sameer Gor is an investment consultant and insurance agent. Avika's mother, Chetna Gor is a house wife. Avika Gor is currently pursuing her studies in Ryan International School in Mumbai.
Avika Gor started her TV career with a TV serial, Balika Vadhu which deals with child marriage. The role of Anandi she played touched the hearts of millions and she became every one’s favourite. The serial was later dubbed in to several languages (as Chinnari Pelli Koothuru in Telugu) and was a super hit there too.
She is also acting in one more serial, Sasural Simar Ka which is doing well on TV. She also participated in couple of TV shows, Kitchen Champion (in 2010) and Comedy Nights with Kapil (in 2013).
Several offers came Avika’s way after the release of Uyyala Jampala but she is cautious in selecting her next. She paired up with Naga Shourya in a film titled ‘Lakshmi Maa Intiki Raave’, the movie despite receiving decent reviews could not manage the required commercial success.
Yet to be announced.
