Personal Life
Nisha Agarwal was born to Vinay Agarwal and Suman Agarwal in Mumbai. Her father, Vinay Agarwal is an entrepreneur and her mother Suman Agarwal is a confectioner. She has an elder sister, Kajal Agarwal who is an established actress.
She completed her studies in Mumbai and was working in a company as intern while simultaneously planning to do MBA. But then she had to leave then behind to make a career in acting.
Nisha Agarwal married a Mumbai based Businessman, Karan Valecha in December 2013. -
Career
Nisha Agarwal tried her hand in modeling in her college days itself. Her sister, Kajal Agarwal was top heroine in Telugu then and she helped her get her debut movie, Yemaindi Eevela (2010) alongside Varun Sandesh. The movie was a big hit. In the next year, she paired up with Nara Rohit in Solo and the movie again is a decent hit. Despite the hits, she did not get enough offers to make her busy.
Success evaded her from 2012, she made her Tamil debut that year with Ishtam, a remake of her debut film, Yemaindi Eevela but it failed to do well there. She had two releases in 2013 – Sukumarudu alongside Aadi and Saradaga Ammayitho alongside her first film costar Varun Sandesh. Unfortunately, both of them bombed at the box office. -
Trivia
- Director Jaya trained Nisha Agarwal to star her in her upcoming movie. For various reasons, Jaya’s project was delayed and it was then Nisha made her debut with Yemaindi Eevela.
