Chitram story at a glance

Janaki (Reema Sen) and her sister are NRIs, come to India to pursue their studies. They stay in their uncle’s place. During the joining day Janaki sees Ramana (Uday Kiran), a die-hard music fan. Ramana falls in love with her at first sight. Later Janaki too falls for Ramana. In one situation both get physically intimate. After few days, Janaki informs Ramana that she is pregnant. Both marry and move to a new home. Soon Janaki gives birth to a baby. Their occurs a change in Ramana behavior, he gets fed up of Janaki and the baby and starts refusing to change the baby's diaper and even to take care of the baby for a minute when Janaki is in the kitchen.  Irked by his behavior, Janaki leaves baby in a basket and leaves home. How Ramana manages to bring back Janaki and how both unite forms the rest of the story.
