Yuvakudu story at a glance
Siva (Sumanth) is a son of a deceased Army Soldier who loses his life in the line of duty. He falls in love with a girl, Sindhu (Bhumika) who rejects him. But his mother (Jaya Sudha) gets close with Sindhu and convinces her for the marriage. As the relationship between Siva and Sindhu starts to settle down, it was then the story turns to the border as Siva gets selected in Army. What happens next is the rest of the story.

Yuvakudu managed good buzz in audience due to the presence of Karunakaran and Nagarjuna. The film received good reviews on its release but could not convert it in to revenue. -
Highlights
- This is the first combination film of Sumanth and director Karunakaran. Sumanth could not steady his career however Karunakaran raced in to main stream directors list.
- This is the first time Sumanth and Bhumika paired up in a film.

Bhumika and Jaya Sudha became good friends in the sets of this movie. As Bhumika is a vegetarian, Jaya Sudha used to get her home made vegetarian food every day.
