Bunny story at a glance
Mahalakshmi (Gowri Munjal) is the daughter of leading business man, Somaraju (Prakash Raj). Mysamma (Mukesh Rushi) is his trusted aide. Somaraju loves his daughter a lot who later falls in love with Bunny (Allu Arjun), her class mate. Somaraju, though reluctant initially, agrees to the marriage. Now Bunny has a condition that Somaraju should give his entire property to Bunny as dowry. The rest of the story explains why Bunny asks for Somaraju's property.

The combination of Allu Arjun and V.V Vinayak had created so much of hype in the audience and business circles. The movie had done tremendous business but fell flat at the box office. The movie remained as an average grosser in Bunny’s career. -

Sidelights
- This was dubbed into Odiya as Dharmayuddha. The film has been remade in Bengali as Challenge by Dev & Subhashree Ganguly, directed by Raj Chakraborty. The movie was dubbed in to Malayalam with the same title and is a super hit there as well.
- The movie was named after Allu Arjun’s real life nick name ‘Bunny’.
