Bhadra story at a glance

Bhadra (Ravi Teja) and Raja (Deepak) are thick friends. Bhadra falls in love at the first sight with Raja's sister Anu (Meera Jasmine). In this process, Bhadra pays a visit to the Raja’s hometown to woo her. But Raja's family is involved in faction. And the family of Raja will be killed by a faction leader Veerayya (Pradeep Rawat). Bhadra rescues Anu and takes her to his home. How Bhadra protects her from Veerayya and how he wins her heart forms the rest of the story.

    The movie got positive reviews and opened extremely well. This film turned out to be a decent hit. The movie was made with a budget of 6 crores and collected 18 crores at box office.

    • Boyapati Srinu debuted with this film as director.
    • Boyapati first narrated the story to Allu Arjun but his calendar was full. So he could not be part of the project. Later Jr. NTR and Prabhas were considered atlast Ravi Teja was finalized.
    • This is first combination of Ravi Teja and Meera Jasmine.
    • It’s the hat-trick combination of Ravi Teja and Devi Sri Prasad

    • Allu Arjun and Prabhas graced the audio launch event.
    • The film was remade into Tamil as Saravana with Silambarasan and Jyothika, remade in Kannada as Gaja with Darshan and also remade into Bengali as Josh with Jeet and Srabonti.
