Yogi story at a glance
Eshwar Prasad – Yogi (Prabhas) comes to Hyderabad to earn a living, leaving his mother (Sarada) in his village. He writes letters to her mother without mentioning his address. Months later his worried mother comes to Hyderabad in search of him. Eshwar Prasad changes to Yogi and enters in to a tussle with local goons. Will the mother and son meet forms the rest of the story.

The new look of Prabhas and the first look stills of the movie have increased the expectations on the movie by several folds. The movie however failed to live up to expectations and ended up a big flop. -

The movie had slight resemblance to his previous film Chatrapati in the core plot line- separation and reunion of mother and son. However if Chatrapati was the protagonist search for his mother, Yogi was the protagonist's mother search for her son. Incidentally, both the films star Prabhas in the lead role.
