Lucy (Rachel) comes to India all the way from US with her boy friend’s sperm to find a surrogate mother who can give her a handsome and healthy baby boy. She finds one in Yashoda (Urmila) in Rajahmundry through an agent. She carefully accompanies her and takes care of Yashoda so that she gets an easy delivery. But one fine day, Yashoda falls down complicating her delivery. Lucy gets disappointed with her and flies back to US even before delivery.

Yashoda gives birth to a beautiful boy, Krishna (Because of the sperm donor, he looks like a foreigner and as such everyone calls him 'OBAMA') and she grooms him well. Later, Lucy comes to know about Krishna and flies back to India. Yashoda refuses to give her the boy but Lucy manages to get Krishna legally. What happens next forms the actual story.

Urmila who played the role of Yashoda, the surrogate mother and Sanjeev who was seen as Ganapati, brother of Urmila in the movie came up with very good performances. Rachel who recently made her debut with Potugadu came up with a decent performance.

The boy, Esthaben who acted as Krishna in the movie is actually French and does not know English. But Singeetham managed to extract good performance from him. Writers Balabhadrapatruni Ramani, Bhuvanachandra, Anantha Sri Ram made their acting debut and came up with okay performances.

Singeetham Srinivasa Rao is the synonym of variety and innovation. Even at the age of 80 plus, the old man is still ahead of time. The surrogacy concept he used in the movie is entirely new to Telugu audience and he also took care in making the concept understandable to B,C centers.

However, he could not manage to make the movie entertaining as per the order of the day. The story just goes on at snail pace impressing you in parts. The comedy track by the writers  Balabhadrapatruni Ramani, Bhuvanachandra, Anantha Sri Ram also did not work out.

The back ground score of the movie is good and songs come as stress busters every now and then.  All the songs are well written and well composed.

Camera work by SS Darshan is average.  The movie is just 2 hours but too much of sentiment drama makes it feel lengthy. Editing is just okay.

Telugu audience almost forgot movies high on emotions and sentiment. Singeetham Srinivas Rao just managed to bring it back. The movie is not a regular commercial and will not have the regular entertaining elements you expect. Get ready for an offbeat movie and go with zero expectations, you will admire the attempt.
