Andala Rakshasi story at a glance
The story of the film is set around early 90’s. Gautham (Rahul Ravindran) is filthy rich guy and falls in love with a small town girl Midhuna (Lavanya). But Midhuna is already in love with Surya (Naveen Chandra). However, they get separated because Midhuna’s dad lies that Surya is dead and also Gautham’s father proposes for marriage of Gautham and Midhuna. Unable to forget Surya, Midhuna asks time to forget Surya and so Gautham takes her to Ooty so that she can have peace of mind. Later Gautham realizes that Surya is still alive and informs Midhuna about Surya. The rest of the story is how Midhuna and Surya unite and what happens to Gautham.

The movie got mixed reviews but with Rajamouli producing the movie, the openings of the film were very huge. On the whole the movie settled as an average flick at box office.
