Dhee story at a glance

Babloo (Manchu Vishnu) is a go lucky guy at the same time he is irresponsible person. Irked by this behavior his father (Chandra Mohan) seeks help of Shankar Goud (Srihari) a local goon in Hyderabad. Shankar Goud appoints him as accountant in his office. Meanwhile, Shankar’s rival plans to kill Shankar Goud's sister Pooja (Genelia) but somehow Shankar’s men bring her home and house arrest her to keep her safe. Babloo sees Pooja and falls in love with her. How Babloo plays mind games and wins the trust of Shankar and marries Pooja forms the rest of the story.

    The film really opened well. It garnered positive talk and reviews as well and was declared a super hit. The movie was made with a budget of 5 crores and collected 9 crores at box office.

    • The film was remade into Tamil as  Mirattal, in Bengali as Khokababu (2012) and the Hindi remake starring Sanjay Dutt is in production. It was also Dubbed in Hindi as "Sabse Badi Hera pheri"
