Shubha Lagnam story at a glance

Madhu (Jagapati Babu) is a civil engineer in a construction company.  He marries Radha (Aamani). Radha always dreams of leading big and filthy rich life which Madhu cannot afford. Meanwhile Latha (Roja), daughter of Madhu's boss (Subbaraya Sharma) comes from London. She falls in love with Madhu and unaware of Madhu's marriage, she proposes to him. Madhu rejects her proposal. When Latha meets Radha, she offers her one crore rupees in exchange for marriage with Madhu. Radha agrees and she starts forces Madhu for Remarriage with Latha. Madhu accepts with heavy heart as Radha threatens to commit suicide. Slowly things change as Madhu prefers Latha than Radha for any work. This makes Radha get jealous and how she realizes the importance of family and relations forms the story.
