Newly wed Karthi (Aadi) and Swathi (Erica Fernandes) are software engineers and colleagues at office. They are regarded as the best couple by their friends, colleagues and respective families. They are even declared as the ‘Best Couple of the Year’ in their office. But on the flipside, the unhappy couple has their own doubts upon their married life and its future as they have an unforgettable past with Parineeti (Kristina Akhheva) and Arav (Rahul Ravindran) respectively. So, how did the subsequent situations and their surprising decisions affect their relationship forms the plot of the story.

Aadi: This film once again proved why Aadi is regarded as ‘Lovely Rockstar’. He was lovely and rocked with his performance in this film. He seems to have tried a different shade in this film and has completely entertained with his dances.

Erica Fernandes: She was cute and tried her best to get into the skin of her character. No wonder if she reminded you of Ileana (in her early days) in terms of her looks. There is always scope for betterment and yes… she is a promising newcomer.

Kristina Akheeva: She is the new charmer in the show. She was quite elegant and impressive even with her performance. Being a foreigner, the way she got her dialogues right just depicts her hard work.

Rahul Ravindran: He was as usually sweet and lovable with his limited character.

Bhargavi: We know this popular TV Anchor is an able anchor. She was lucky enough to get a good contrasting character in the film. Her dialogues and performance leave a lasting impact.

The rest of the cast Bharath Reddy, Jabardast Chandra, Sapthagiri, Vennela Rama Rao and others generate few gags to keep the audience entertained throughout.

The debutant director Naveen Gandhi along with the able aid of Sampath Nandi was successful in cooking an outright commercial love story. Both the subject and treatment are absolutely contemporary. Able performances, striking dialogues and youthful presentation make the film stand out.

First Half: This segment is a loaded meal with love, youthful comedy and lovely performances.

Interval: The pre-interval episode has been knitted well to keep the viewers to look out for the second half.

Second Half: This segment is quite an emotional ride but Sapthagiri is back with his trademark comedy. His episode with the grannies does grab your eyeballs.

Merits:
- Star cast performances especially Aadi, Erica, Kristina, Rahul, Bhargavi and others delivered subtle and vindicating performances.
- Jabardast Chandra, Sapthagiri comedy both in the first half and second half are hilarious.
- Striking dialogues with both punch and point are yet another highlight of the film.
- Good commercial music will entertain us for sure.
- A contemporary storyline which immediately relates to this generation youth.

De-merits:
An intense treatment, an emotional connectivity and a much intact screenplay would have put the story in a different plane altogether.

Bheems Ceciroleo gave a good commercial music with a good blend of melodies and massy numbers. The songs were well picturised too.

With periodic mentions of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, this film is an absolute love for the Powerstar fans. Aadi’s dialogue on Pawanism will be a rage for sure. Apart from this, the locations looked quite good and opulent enough though they were in and around Hyderabad – great job by the art department.

Galipatam is an outright contemporary youthful entertainer complimented with a message! Watching the film with a class bunk out or a mass bunk out should be memorable.
