Krish (Varun Sandesh), a young successful business who comes back to India is unknowingly interested in Mahi aka Maha Lakshmi (Poorna), his employee. Mahi a typical traditional middle class girl who is dumped by her boyfriend is often criticized and counseled by Krish and in the due course, he develops feelings for her. Mahi ties to impress him in the name of upgrading herself just to prove him wrong and change his opinion about her. When Krish and Mahi are quite in a fix about their feelings for each other, things run out of their hands and worsen it for them. How did the couple realize their love and win it forms the crux of the story.

Varun Sandesh: Fans always love to see him as a livewire in his films. But, this time he seems to have tried a complete contrasting character just to surprise and in a way impress with his subtle yet effective performance. It was a delight watching him.

Poorna: She is an able actress and it has been proved once again with this film. She was impressive with her looks and performance but only if she could have got her dialogues better.

Rest of the cast like Sana, Dhanraj, Jabardast Raghu Uttej and others did a decent job.

Trinadha Rao, the experienced director in the town has chosen a trendy hero with good youth fan-base, a trendy glamorous heroine and a decent cast, only to tell an age-old love story in the most old-fashioned way possible. Much like an old wine in a new bottle, his story is just set in an IT background but his narration was still draped in the couture of the 90s. A new age love story is naturally expected to have a new presentation with all the engaging ingredients of this generation love trends. But, this story has been struck between being a heart-tugging love story and an entertaining new age romantic entertainer.

Merits:
- The star cast performances especially Varun Sandesh, Poorna, Sana, Uttej.
- Neat and Clean presentation of an age old love story.
- Decent music.
- Hale and healthy subtle comedy scenes.

De-merits:
- Conventional narrative and lack of emotional connect.
- Lack of intense scenes and any heart tugging dialogues.

Music by Sai Karthik was decent enough and fares well on-screen. The songs were picturized aesthetically too. He impressed with the back ground score as well.

Cinematography by Gnanasekhar was impressive, especially the lighting scheme and the overall visual appeal of the film.

Nuvvala Nenila is an age old porridge served in a new china bowl. You can try it along with your family but the porridge might not impress you as the china bowl could - A strict one-time watch!
