CAN’T CEASE DUBBING SERIALS TELECAST OVERNIGHT: ALLU ARAVIND
Retaliating on the attack upon the MAA TV office by the Television Artists Association the other day demanding the cessation of dubbing serial telecast, Allu Aravind, one of the directors of MAA TV in a press note released stated that, “We seriously condemn the attack upon our office which left our security guard seriously injured and we understand this as a ‘provoked’ attack. We have filed a complaint over the mob of attackers and are expecting some strict action over them.”
Adding to it he also said, “It is technically not possible to cease the telecast of dubbing serials overnight, even in a stipulated short span. We understand the concern of various artist associations but in the greater interest of about 250-300 our own employees working in various dubbing serial projects, we cannot abstain from the telecast right away. “
With allegations that these dubbing serials are eating away the opportunities of the indigenous artists, this latest statement from Allu Aravind has added fuel to the fire!
