Cannes to feature more Indian actors and makers

Cannes International Film Festival is all set to start from May 15th. The 66th edition of this festival will feature more Indian actors and filmmakers as the Indian Cinema entered 100 years. Also Cannes is organizing special screening of ‘Bombay Talkies’ film which is based on 100 years of Indian Cinema. This film is directed by Bollywood makers Karan Johar, Anurag Kahsyap, Dibakar Banerjee and Zoya Akthar. Bollywood legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan who is featuring in Baz Luhrmann's upcoming entertainer will be in Cannes to participate for the premier show of the film. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be walking on the red carpet with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.

Bollywood beauties Vidya Balan and Nandita Das will be acting as Jury members and will be walking on the red carpet. Also brand ambassadors of Loreal, Sonam Kapoor and Frieda Pinto will sparkle on the red carpet as well. Sonam will be also promoting her latest film ‘Raanjhanaa’ at Cannes.

Meanwhile from South, Superstar Rajinikanth will be participating in the festival and his forthcoming film ‘Kochadaiyaan’ trailer will be launched in the festival. Also item girl Sherlyn Chopra’s ‘Kamasutra’ film’s second teaser will be released here. She will also be walking on the red carpet. Amish Patel will be sizzling in Manish Malhotra’s designed outfit. Amisha’s film ‘Short Cut Romeo’ will be screened in the fest. Tollywood top producer Ashwini Dutt’s daughter Seshu Priyanka Dutt’s short film ‘Yadon Ki Barat’ has been short listed in Short films category and she will be present at the festival.
