Malayali filmmakers take on Sreeshanth

Controversies always attract filmmakers. Also makers show more interest in bringing them on screen and creating a sensation. Now Malayalam filmmakers are getting ready to make a movie on Indian pace bowler Sreeshanth’s life and the controversy of spot fixing. Filmmakers Shaji Kailas and A K Sajan are gearing up for a film titled ‘Cricket’, which is based on Sreesanth's life. Shaji and Sajan were also done with initial stages of script and are busy giving final touches to the script.

Shaji said, "It's about the rise and fall of a young Malayali cricketer. The lead character is a young all-rounder in Kerala who reaches great heights because of his talent and hard work. But after making fame, greed takes over and he spoils his life with his own hands." “We want to deliver a strong message to all with this film,” added Sajan. Well, we have to wait and see how the Shaji and Sajan will elevate the film.
