The times are changing and heroes too are adapting to the changes in the time by doing roles and characters which were previously unthinkable. Even they are willing to act together something that many thought would never be possible. This scenario has given birth to Multistarrers again.

We saw the first multistarrer of this generation with the film Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu where both top actors Superstar Mahesh Babu and Victory Venkatesh were seen together. Later we saw young Naga Chaitanya team up with Sunil in Thadaka and we also have the soon to be released film Garam Masala starring Victory Venkatesh and Energetic Star Ram. Not only these, soon all the Akkineni’s are going to be seen together in the film Manam.

But are these movies really, multistarrer films? A closer look here would make it clear that these are not multistarrers in true sense. These are actually a clever compromise and actually mini-multistarrers named as multistarrers just to get that big hype. What we see in these multistarrers is actors of two generations acting with one another or actors of same family acting together. These aren’t the true multistarrers one was hoping for.

The day we would get to see top actors of same generation acting together like NTR with Ram Charan, or Mahesh Babu with Pawan Kalyan, that would be the day we can proudly say we have seen a multistarrer film. Until then we can only be falsely satisfied with these mini-multistarrers that are nothing but a good business gimmick for the ones involved in the making.
