Shooting of the sequel to the film 'Pizza' titled as 'Pizza-2 -The Villa' is completed. Sanchitha Shetty and Ashok Selvan are playing the main leads in the film which is directed by Deepan Chakravarthy. Earlier Vaibhav Reddy was considered for the main lead in the film but the actor was replaced for some unknown reasons before the film even went to the sets.
'Pizza' directed by Karthik Subbaraju was a major sleeper success last year in Tamil Nadu. The film was then dubbed with the same title in Telugu and got great critical reception and fared decently at the box office. The makers promise that the sequel will be more chilling compared to its predecessor. The film is tentatively slated to have its release in July.
