No Sequel for Baahubali

By - June 06, 2013 - 07:40 AM IST

More Stories

Baahubali 1, Baahubali 2, Baahubali 3D and so on were the only words that made noise in the tinsel town for the past couple of weeks. It was already heard that Rajamouli had decided to make the movie in two parts, but now Jakanna seems to have his ducks in the row and changed his mind and there will be only one Baahubali, no sequels. Yes, you heard it right.

If the film is made according to the script, the movie would run for 4hrs, and that was the reason why it was decided earlier to make it in two parts. Otherwise it would have been a movie like Benhur with two intervals. Long story short, Rajamouli and Vijayendra Prasad have trimmed some of the episodes to shorten the story from 4 to 2.5hrs. The big reason for the sudden change in mind was the fear that was cultivated among the unit members that the movie would have a lesser impact and increase the budget at the same time. We know Jakannna has bagful of tricks, so be ready to be surprised.
