MARD (Men Against Rape and Discrimination) is a social campaign started by director and actor Farhan Akthar whose main object is to spread awareness against rape and discrimination of women. Many stars across the platforms from various industries have participated in this campaign. Superstar Mahesh Babu happens to be one of them representing the Telugu cinema community.
It is in relation to this campaign a poem was written by Farhan Akthar which is getting translated into various Indian languages. In Telugu Mahesh Babu was chosen to recite it which the actor has completed recently. Similarly the Marathi version of the poem was rendered by Sachin Tendulkar.
