When Tollywood folks first saw ‘Allari’ movie posters, everybody in the industry thought “who is this guy? He looked innocent and funny too. But none did recognise him as director EVV Satyanarayana’s younger son. Nobody even imagined that one day this young guy would become a minimum gaurentee hero of Tollywood.
Nata Kiriti Rajendra Prasad’s charm was gradually coming down. His films number got decreased and filmnagar folks considered it is the end of the comedy king and none would entertain the Telugu audience hereafter. But within no time Allari Naresh became the psuedo comedy king and his films have entertained the audience to the core and the tag of EVV’s son was just for push and today everything he earned is absolutely on his own and his hard work truly paid off.
After ‘Allari’ small filmmakers focus got shifted to Naresh and early in his career he experimented with various roles be it a negative one or positive one like in ‘Visaka Express’ and ‘Pranam’. He was accepted by all sort of audience but Naresh preferred ‘Allari’ kinds of roles and finally got stuck to the comic category. Today, small producers happily rely on this ‘Allari’ babu and he is one of the minimum guarantee heros’ in Tollywood at present.
As Gali Seenu in ‘Gamyam’ he proved everybody as an actor and it also did fetch him ‘Nandi Award’. With ‘Sudigadu’ Naresh’s brand of comedy has touched the top notch and his waves are still amusing audience. Today, he is the only hero in Tollywood to release 4 to 5 films a year and every film is a breakeven for the makers. Now Naresh started getting openings like a big hero movie.
But direction is his ambition as he worked in the direction department with his dad and to make films on ‘EVV Cinema’ banner is long pending work in his list. Wishing Allari Naresh all the very best and a happy happy birthday.
