We all revolve around money but it works on its own terms and we simply cannot crack this theory but the gates of fortune have simply unlocked for Pawan & Mahesh. Simple reason …. They both are hovering for the # 1 spot in Tollywood with success in their back pockets. Obviously with all these attributes you simply have to raise the bar (money)!! and that is exactly what these 2 guys are doing today.

In the current climate it is literally not possible to judge who has the crown? Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu are the only contenders as of today. With back to back blockbusters Gabbar Singh and Attarintiki Daredi (AD) Pawan Kalyan image just got multiplied, while Mahesh Babu is already sitting there with his share of hits Dookudu and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.

With so many credits what is next? The real race has just begun and the name for this race is “REMUNERATION”. According to the tinsel town sources, Pawan Kalyan’s new remuneration is now a whopping Rs.25 Cr with the success of AD. Even the trade analysts also agree that there is nothing wrong in paying him so much, if AD is close to grossing Rs.100 Cr. In fact Pawan was paid Rs.15 Cr for AD, and the meter just went up by 10 Cr (60% hike, we simply love this JOB!!). It is also told that he was paid Rs.18 Cr for CGTR (Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu), but since the movie flunked, he discounted Rs.3 Cr for AD.

Even Mahesh is neck to neck with Pawan in this regard. After rewriting all the records with Dookudu, he became the most wanted hero in Tollywood. After this film his remuneration sky rocketed and from then on he received Rs.15 Cr for every movie. Most recently 14 Reels Entertainment got in an agreement with Mahesh Babu for three movies (Dookudu, 1, Aagadu), and paid him a cumulative total of Rs.50 Cr. Mahesh Babu holds the record as the first ever telugu actor to receive such a gigantic package.

When it comes to star Remuneration it is completely a different ball game all together. For some it is paid in full, while others get a part of the remuneration and a share in the profits. Mahesh must have opted for the second option, and his rate card varies depending on the movie collections. On that scale, if you combine the remuneration along with the profit share, Mahesh could probably be the No.1 Hero in terms of remuneration (Smart Play!!).He is going to stick with the same policy for ‘1’ Nenokkadine. Currently Pawan is also following the same route. Gabbar Singh 2 is likely to be made on his own banner while his friend Sharat Marar is the producer of this film. Pawan is taking remuneration along with the share in the profits for this movie.

These are the only two heroes whose movies have grossed close to Rs.100 Cr milestone, and they both deserve to be paid the highest. So, it makes sense in sharing the No.1 position between the two. What do you say??
