Versatile film-maker Neelakanta, who surprised Tolly audiences with his flicks ‘Show’, ‘Missamma’ and ‘Mr.Medhavi’ had received high critical acclamation for all his flicks. Despite high talent, the director hasn’t made it big in the recent days and is still struggling to bring out a best commercial film. Chammak Challo was Neelakanta’s previous flick starring Varun Sandesh, Sanchita Padukone and Catherine Tresa. The movie bombed at box-office.
The director today began shooting for his upcoming film ‘Maaya’ which deals with extra sensory perception. Cast and crew are yet-to-be revealed by the movie unit. MVK Reddy will be producing this movie on Shirdi Sai Combines and Madhura Sreedhar is the prersenter.
