Director Ram Gopal Varma, who filed a complaint against CBFC officer Dhanalakshmi in the corridors of law, has got a response from her. The state CBFC chief says that she wasn’t odd against RGV or his film Satya 2.
Countering the complaint filed by Varma, Dhanalakshmi said, “We (all the board members) were against the film as it has character names close to real life persons. We reacted against the film only after getting a memorandum from a news channel." “And I am not the one to take decision, its part of all the board members to decide certification and cuts for any film. Whatsoever, Varma could have knocked the doors of revising committee rather than Nampally court. ” added Dhanalakshmi.
The CBFC officer also said that this film has reflected the characters and names of three popular persons in society.
