Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer Nenokkadine’s audio is finally out. Debutant Kirti Sanon is going to be seen paired opposite Mahesh in this flick. The film is directed by the versatile Sukumar and music for the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. All the lyrics for the album are written by Chandrabose.  The micro teaser of the film has already created ripples among the viewers and here is the exclusive audio review of the album:

The album rightfully begins with a high voltage track “Who are you?” sung by the ever energetic Devi Sri Prasad. The percussions, orchestration are very much in Hard Rock style which gives the song a fresh start. The lyrics written by Chandrabose are in the form of questions which sounds quite interesting.  Watch out for the Guitar Solo in the second interlude!

The second track ‘Aww Tuzo Mogh Korta’ which arrives begins in the Latino style and foot tapping rhythm.  The singer Neha Bhasin makes it absolute music to ears in the Latino singing and the string section blends very well with the keyboard.  Though the song sounds different in the first hearing, it sure will grow on the listener for the novelty it offers.

After a visit to the Latino lands, it is ‘Sayonara Sayonara’ in trance style with Sooraj Santhosh and M.M.Mansi on the vocals. The track is well-mixed with trance, progressive rock and powerful vocals.  Sooraj does a great job in singing the song with high vigor and the bass guitar joins him with ease. It is interesting to see the electric guitar complement the singer with striking balance.  The interludes are laden with strings and fusion vocals.

The fourth track ‘You’re My Love’ is a progressive melody with impactful voice of Piyush Kapoor and Devi Sri Prasad. The track has hip-hop styled rhythm and the tune has a peculiar feel. The rhythm and keyboard follows with ease along with the bass guitar. The electric guitar feast begins in the first interlude with beautiful flute and string section as well.  The track interestingly has the so called ‘Sukumar’ emotional touch which is so evident in his earlier films.

The paced up album goes to a crescendo with the final track ‘London Babu’ sung by Priya Hemesh.  Though it is evidently an item song, Devi Sri Prasad brings in Trance rhythm to give a new touch to the genre.  The song mixes the techno, trance, and folk style in convincing blend.

Verdict:

Nenokkadine is a very good album yet again from Devi Sri Prasad where the high energy tracks take the front seat and take the album forward with ease. Good choice of singers, experimental orchestration and emotional touch makes the album stand confident. However, the high influence of Rock style might take some time to seep into the common audience.
