Though the Tollywood’s department of comedy generated some great cinematic actors like Ali, Brahmanandam, Krishna Bhagawan and Sunil, they were highly successful in doing comedy but, except Sunil, no one could make their mark in the industry as a hero.
Following his seniors, Srinivas Reddy, one of the most-sought after comedian in TFI is gearing up to don the lead role in an upcoming Telugu film. Balupu and Varna producer, Prasad V Potluri is likely to venture this film under PVP Cinemas. Raj Kiran, a debutant will be directing this out-and-out comedy entertainer.
Initially the makers of the film approached actress Anjali to cast opposite Srinivas Reddy but the latest is that Anjali has apparently turned down the offer. There is a strong buzz that, Anjali is going to take a break for coming few months to shed off her weight. So, the movie unit is now scouting for another heroine and an official announcement of the cast is expected soon.
