A story that started on Twitter has now leaped onto Facebook. We know of Samantha tweeting her opinion with alleged reference to 1-Nenokkadine poster. And we also know of actor Siddharth coming to her support and consequently the huge ‘anti Sid-Sam’ rumpus that went on Twitter previously.

Now, it is supposedly Sekhar Kammula who joined the club of Sam supporters. In a Facebook page that claims to represent him, a post has been made on his behalf most recently that reads -

“Just saw the poster of 1 Nenokkadine and read what Samantha tweeted.......I share the same views....it is regressive, no doubt about it...but what is shocking is the ruckus that is being created against her.......Its her opinion and she has every right to express it...and it has nothing to do with Mahesh Babu. Its how a woman has been projected on a poster and how she felt about it.

This is not the first time we have seen posters like this or films that protray woman regressively but its heartening to see a main stream heroine react. Manam brathike unnam anna feeling ecchindi... hats off Samantha for actually starting a debate...this is good for our industry...its a great sign....

When a top heroine sees a poster and feels that women are shown regressively, it is time for all of us to think about it rather than attack her. Perhaps many women feel the same way about the way we show them in our movies...”

When the topic appeared to be finally sub-siding, the participation of Sekhar Kammula has revoked a big debate on social networking sites. Well, who all will be participating more in this and will Sekhar also feel the heat of the fans is a suspense thriller to be stay tuned into. Don’t worry we’ll let you know!!
