Jandapai Kapiraju is an upcoming drama film starring Nani and Amala Paul in the lead roles. It is directed by Samuthirakani and the music for the film is composed by G.V.Prakash Kumar. Iqlikmovies brings you the exclusive music review of the album:

The album begins with a feel good melody Inthandanga Undha sung by Javed Ali, Sasha and G.V.Prakash Kumar. The track has an unmistakable Hindustani Touch and good string section makes it a decent hearing.

After a breezy beginning, the album moves to funkiness with ‘Don’t worry be happy’ which arrives next. The use of ghatam and electric guitar is done with masterful perfection. Jai Srinivas and Priya Hemesh do well in the singing department. The track can be regarded as a modern folk experimentation.

The next track begins unusually with Saarangi, a Hindustani instrument leading to paced up track with great energy of Hemachandra. The local percussions and nadaswaram has been used well. It doesn’t sound hushed up at any point of the track but goes in a steady pace.

The steady pace blends to a breezy melody ‘Telisinadhi’ sung by Haricharan and Saindhavi with ease. Lyrics by Vennelakanti are worth mentioning here for the good usage of simple words. This track is one of the frontrunners of this album.

The album comes to its crescendo with a techno styled track ‘Geetha Verses’ having a peculiar Arabic touch as well.  The string section and rhythm is power packed for the listener’s pleasure.
Verdict:

Jandapai Kapiraju is like a whiff of fresh air in the midst of heavy sounding Telugu Albums off late. It has solid recording value and good use of orchestration and selection of singers. However, the album leaves the listener wanting for more.
