Everyone knows about the ‘1-Nenokkadine poster controversy’ instigated by Samantha and now, after the film’s release, Mahesh Babu has countered Samantha’s tweet. In an interview to a private TV channel, when the interviewer asked Superstar to respond on this note, he nonchalantly said, “As we (Mahesh and Samantha) are good friends, if Samantha felt anything offence with the poster she should have personally called me, and I would have asked my director to delete it. But it is totally condemnable posting against someone's wish in social networking site.”
It all started when Samantha posted a tweet on her micro-blogging site saying “Saw a poster of a yet to be released Telugu film. Not only is it deeply regressive, but it’s point is actually that it is deeply regressive.” Then a stretched battle began between her supposed boyfriend Siddharth and Mahesh Babu’s fans. It also lead to a big altercation between fans of Mahesh and Samantha on Twitter.
On the other hand, 1-Nenokkadine, which was released on 10th January, is getting brilliant response from the audience, though the film has opened to poor reviews. But due to the positive talk for Ram Charan’s Yevadu, business of 1-Nenokkadine seems to have got a major blow.
