Ulavacharu Biryani is a trilingual Romantic Comedy starring veteran character actor Prakash Raj and Sneha in the lead roles. New comers Tejas and Samyuktha Hornad  are introduced in this film as well. It also features veteran actors Urvashi and S.P.Balsubrahmanyam in supporting roles. The film is co-produced and directed by Prakash Raj. K.S.Rama Rao of prestigious banner Creative Commercials is one of the producers for the film. Music for this film is composed by Maestro Ilaiyaraaja and Chandrabose wrote the lyrics. Here is an iQlik exclusive music review of the album:

The album begins with Ee Janmame Ruchi sung by the energetic Powerhouse Kaliash Kher. The song has a wonderful Hindustani flavor blended with Modern Jazz orchestration and a special mention for lyrics by Chandrabose is inevitable. After a long time, Telugu Cinema has a song based on love for food and except for the diction of Kailash Kher, the composition is flawless in all respects. Interestingly, the composition is based on Hindustani Raag Jog.

After a funky beginning, it is time for a lilting melody Teeyaga Teeyaga sung by Ranjith and Vibhavari.  The trademark bass work of Ilaiyaraaja is quite evident throughout the composition. The rhythm is groovy yet mellowed with great ease. The interludes are convincingly woven amidst strings, flute and laid back rhythm. While Ranjith sings his best, Vibhavari could have sounded more confident for such a fantastic composition.

Telisi Teliyandhila arrives with an out of the world Guitar prelude which launches to a groovy composition sung well by Ramya. The orchestration is fantastic with greatly laden electric guitars, rhythm section and phenomenal interludes. Karthik joins Ramya with fantastic ease and makes this a highlight track of the album.

The album enters finale with a breezy solo Raayaleni Lekhale sung by Sharath. The uplifting string section and guitars make it a pleasant hearing.  The sadness is beautifully presented with respect to music and great lyrics add to the value of the composition. It leaves a beautiful feel to the listener which is fresh as a dew drop.

Verdict:
Ulavacharu Biryani is an album which is as fresh and interesting as the title. Maestro Ilaiyaraaja delivers some beautiful compositions which give the taste of brilliant music to Telugu Audience yet again!
