Sekhar Kammula is not always about college students, their love stories and definitely not about coffee. He is a passionate filmmaker with a belief in cinema. Otherwise he wouldn’t have come out of his success zone and make films like Leader and now Anamika. All that he believes is - in cinema and himself! This ace director who is known to be a serene, soft-spoken and sensitive personality can actually be bold, expressive and articulate. When Arambham tried to explore, he shared his views from Movies to Modi:

-> He says he is neither kicked by Modi or Rahul
-> He disclosed about his unfulfilled wish about remaking one of his films in Bollywood
-> He opined that our audience is partitioned with regard to receiving Hollywood films and Telugu cinema.
-> He declared the he is ready to make a film with short-film makers but Conditions Apply.

Apart from a genuine and passionate filmmaker, he is a man with conviction and social responsibility. Instead of playing the blame game or lecturing about the ‘dos and donts’ of this system, he has initiated a thought-provoking campaign ‘I Care…I React’ that preaches self-realization is the only key to social reformation.
