The making cost of a cinema in Tollywood has reached new heights in the last decade and big star films these days are made at nothing less than Rs 40 crores. So, it takes strong financial reserves for such flicks. One banner which has made a mark in this segment happens to be PVP Pictures owned by renowned Industrialist, Educationalist and Pawan Kalyan's friend Prasad V. Potluri.

They have been coming up with heavy budget movies irrespective of their results at the box office. Now, it is heard that PVP has bagged another biggie. Reports reveal that PVP is gunning for the remake rights of the Bollywood movie 2 States which became a hit recently.

The film is based on the book written by the famous Chetan Bhagat. Inside talk is that the discussions are almost done and the agreements have to be signed. The Tollywood folks say this is a good project to be remade and PVP can look at stepping up their reputation and image through this one.

Well, Aashiqui-2 Telugu remake is already in the making under the production of Bandla Ganesh and direction of Bumper Offer fame Jaya Ravindra. So, 2 States might also see the light very shortly.
