There was a strong speculation around Superstar Mahesh Babu donning the role of renowned badminton player Pullela Gopichand and Mahesh’s brother-in-law Sudheer Babu producing that film. But, Sudheer Babu has recently trashed this as a mere rumor and he has added some new stuff to it as well.
Sudheer Babu clarified that he and Chandamama Kathalu director Praveen Sattaru had the idea of making a film based on the life story of Gopichand but he is not quite sure when will this project materialize. Interesting aspect is that Sudheer Babu will be playing the role of Gopichand in this film and he will be producing the film on his own.
We've hardly seen a sports biopic in Tollywood and this might be the start of a new genre of films. Let's hope that this project gets materialized and we get to see the life of Pullela on the screen very soon!
