Adavi Kaachina Vennela is an upcoming entertainer starring Arvind Krishna and Meenakshi Dixit in lead roles. Music for the film is composed by Dr.Josyabhatla and Karthik Rodriguez. Lyrics for the album are penned by the legendary lyricist Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry. Here is an iQlik exclusive music review of the album:

The album begins with a relaxed melody Tooneega Rekkala based on a famous western classical piece yet retaining the nativity. The fresh innocence and beauty of the track is the usage of sitar in the midst of string sections and the notable lilting piano touches. The lyrics speak of simple wishes with a brilliant poetic signature.

Naa Antarangam continues the breezy ambience coupled with eeriness. The new singer Phani gives a dedicated and impressive vocal rendition but a rendition from the heart would have made it a cherishing experience. The piano touches give a good feel throughout the track. The thoughtful flute adds value along with the mellowed percussions. A very special mention for the lyrics is inevitable.

The album takes a new turn with Cheppalante sung by Surabhi Sravani with a stage play style of narration. It is interesting to have Thagubothu Ramesh’s dialogues in the prelude with harmonium base. Sravani’s voice resembles the item singer Malathi very much but the techno touches in orchestration are impressively done.

After the inevitable item song touch, the album resumes its laid back mode with Nissabdham sung by Meghna Dundi and Karunakar Adigarla. Meghna has a jazzy voice which has been used to the best for this composition. The relaxing string section and her earthly voice is quite unique. The philosophical lyrics are really competent and the usage of sanskritized words add to the beauty.

The breezy track Naa Antarangam arrives yet again in the voice of talented Shaktisree Gopalan now. She gives an all new dimension to the tune with her supreme voice and lower octave singing. However, the techno mixing could have been avoided which would have made it the best melody composed this year.

Tooneega Rekkala (Jazz Version) is sung by young singing sensation Sravana Bhargavi. While the first version had western classical touches, this version has modern jazz. Usage of harmonica is done at the best by the composer. Because of these unique touches, this version wins over the previous one.

Verdict:

Adavi Kaachina Vennela is a beautiful album with some great compositions involving modern jazz, western classical and Indian melody. Lyrics stand out strong for this album making it so far the surprise package of this year.
