It has been a while since the legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao has passed away but it must be said that his presence is still felt by many. Currently, the theatres have made him alive with his last movie ‘Manam’. Meanwhile, some are coming up with an idea and hoping it works as the best tribute to ANR.
They are wondering if a statue of ANR will be unveiled on September 20th which happens to be his birthday. As such, ANR holds the key credit of bringing Tollywood to Hyderabad from Chennai. Secondly, as a legend he has been an inspiration to actors as well as many other film industry personnel.
He has lived for 90 years and became a role model for many virtues. So, it is being desired that his statue must be put up. If not anywhere in the city, at least in filmnagar where there is good public view. Many are hoping KCR’s government will do something about it and give a honorable birthday present.
