Alludu Seenu is an upcoming power packed entertainer starring Bellamkonda Suresh’s son Sai Srinivas and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead roles. The film is directed by the powerhouse director V.V.Vinayak and music is composed by Devisri Prasad. Tanikella Bharani,  Brahmanandam, Prakash Raj are playing pivotal roles.  Tamannah is going to appear in an item song for this film as well. Here is an iQlik exclusive audio review of the album:

The album begins with a House Mix styled track Ori Devudo sung by the talented Javed Ali.  The track has an instantly likeable factor with catchy rhythm and the singing style is essentially Punjabi flavored. The bass progression is typically DSP style and Suchitra joins the fun with her funkiest voice. Lyrics by Chandrabose are commercially entertaining.

Neeli Neeli is a feel good melody sung by the ever sweet sounding Karthik and Harini. Despite having breathtaking melody the track also has a modern ambience associated with it. Bhaskarabhatla’s lyrics are wonderfully poetic and the vocalists do complete justice to it.  The track has a definite DSP feel to it throughout. Lilting guitar and string section add much ambience to the overall composition.

It is time for some energetic track and Whatsup Antu arrives in the voice of DSP himself along with Sharmila. The progressive rhythm and DSP’s energetic rendition are the lifelines of the track. Despite reminding the listener of DSP’s earlier compositions, this track works well in the fun department.

The inevitable item song touch welcomes the listener with Labbar Bomma having foot tapping rhythm and funky moments throughout. Chandrabose gives an utter commercial touch through his lyrics. The track has everything required for a typical commercial item song and is well presented.

Oho Bujji Konda is an interesting track with Arabic rhythm section and breezily sung by Jaspreet Jazz and Sharmila. The track progresses in a conversational style which makes it even more fun to hear. The overall ambience of the orchestration is quite contemporary and yet having DSP’s style.  The vocalists perform quite well with a tinge of funky expression.

The album arrives to a finale with title track Alludu Seenu with funky rhythm section and good string section. Priya Hemesh who is a regular for DSP gives a confident performance. The occasional piano touches in this essential mass track are another interesting aspect to look for.  Interludes are well woven with harmonica, and progressive bass work.

Verdict:

Alludu Seenu is a typical DSP album which offers full fledged energy and power packed commercial tracks. Good sound production, orchestration and great selection of singers make it a solid commercial album. However, the album has very little to offer in terms of musical excellence.
