Somebody’s loss is somebody’s gain or vice-versa. A role missed by an actor is taken over by the other and it’s often heardquite common in the film circuit. There’s one character that is taking rounds and some big names in the industry were approached for it. Yes, you guessed it right! The role we are taking about is the crucial character of 'Gona Ganna Reddy' in Gunasekhar’s most prestigious project Rudramadevi.

Gunasekhar who has given Mahesh Babu his career’s first breakthrough in the form of Okkadu has approached him for the role, but the Superstar though was reluctant initially, later agreed to do the role. It is said that he asked Guna Sekhar to complete the entire shoot of Rudramadevi and get back to him. Mahesh's idea is to peacefully finish the pending parts in Aagadu. But, Gunasekhar was reportedly thinking that unless the actor for Gona Gannareddy is officially announced, business will not happen as the budget has gone much beyond the expected.

Hence, he approached RaviTeja, NTR et al and now finally the role will be donned by none other than Stylish Star Allu Arjun. As Allu Arjun’s last 2 films Julayi, Race Gurram were big hits and he’s the star in full demand now, the director felt Allu Alrjun reprising the role would fetch him good business and add much need hype to the project. So Gunasekhar requested Bunny for which the 'Race Gurram' has given an instant nod.

Already the film was sold out for some centers. Some of the seniors in Tollywood say Gunasekhar has taken a wise and intelligent decision by not waiting for Mahesh and going ahead with Bunny. It is also a good decision by Bunny to take up a historical role as this would be the first of its kind in his career which is currently on an upswing mode. So, both Guna Sekhar and Allu Arjun should be appreciated for this.
