Dil Raju alias Venkataramana Reddy began his career as a film distributor with Pelli Pandiri, the movie was big hit and reaped him good profits. He eventually turned producer with Dil in 2003 and been called as ‘Dil Raju’ since then. He was a man with the golden hand given his success streak. Though he didn’t have any big hits in the recent past, his judgement of a film is always taken as a commandment by the Tollywood fraternity. So, when Dil Raju takes a film, half success is guaranteed.
One film which has shot to limelight in this pattern is Adavi Kachina Vennela. News is that Dil Raju has taken the rights for Nizam and it is gearing up for release on August 1. Directed and produced by Akki Viswanatha Reddy, the film has Arvind Krishna of It’s My Love Story fame in the lead. Pooja Ramachandran of Swamy Ra Ra fame is one of the leading ladies.
Reports reveal that the film runs on a very unique concept never dealt before and the making standards are very high. No wonder that Dil Raju has grabbed it then. Meanwhile, it is also heard that Dil Raju has put his cards on another film Run Raja Run starring Sharwanand. Let us wish these films revive the success streak and Dil Raju gains his golden hand back.
